The New York Conference is excited to announce Jeremy Garlock as the new principal of Union Springs Academy (USA). Garlock has served in education and youth ministries for 20 years, both in the New York and Pennsylvania conferences. Prior to this position, Garlock served the New York Conference as a teacher, trainer, principal, church planter, camp youth pastor, youth ministries leader, and most recently, as superintendent of schools and associate director for Youth Ministries.
Jeremy and his wife, Joya, are the parents of five beautiful daughters. Joya and two of their daughters are proud USA alumni. One daughter currently attends USA and will graduate in spring 2021—marching with the class that marks the 100th year for the institution.
“We look forward to seeing where God is going to lead our 100-year-old school under the experienced leadership of Mr. Garlock and his amazing team at USA,” said Janica Caster, USA vice principal of advancement and recruiting.
Founded in 1921, Union Springs Academy is a full boarding academy located in Union Springs, New York. Operated by the New York Conference, the school provides quality Christian education to young people from New York, New England, Canada, and abroad.
