Pine Tree Academy has undergone a series of exciting physical plant improvements over the past year, aimed at enhancing both the learning environment and the overall student experience. These upgrades reflect the school’s ongoing commitment to providing a safe, functional, and inspiring space for students to grow academically, physically, and spiritually.
One of the most significant updates is the installation of a new gymnasium roof (pictured). After over 50 years of use, the aging roof needed replacement to ensure the continued usability of this vital area of the school. Thanks to the generous support of a donor, the new roof is now in place, protecting the gym from the elements and securing this space for countless athletic events, PE classes, school-wide gatherings, the Northern New England Conference (NNEC) Camp Meeting, as well as both NNEC Art and Music Clinics, and many other activities.
Another major improvement is the complete resurfacing of the school’s blacktop areas. This project has not only enhanced the overall appearance of the campus but also improved safety for students during outdoor activities and school drop-off and pick-up times. The newly paved areas provide smoother surfaces for basketball, recess games, community events, parking—and represent a long-awaited upgrade to this part of the school grounds. Many thanks to the Northern New England Conference and their considerable donation of a trust gift to make this major campus upgrade.
Equally exciting is the installation of a brand-new playground. Designed with both safety and fun in mind, the new playground offers students a refreshed space to enjoy recess and build social connections. The updated equipment features age-appropriate designs, modern safety features, and a vibrant look that has brought smiles to many young faces.
These campus improvements would not have been possible without the prayers, support, and financial contributions from Pine Tree Academy and Northern New England Conference families and friends. Pine Tree Academy is grateful to everyone who helped make these improvements a reality, and continues to seek God’s guidance as the school looks toward the future.
