Joy of Troy Hosts Jamie Jorge in Concert

  • New York Conference

Joy of Troy hosted a concert featuring Jaime Jorge on March 19 for the Quadrant community, church, and surrounding areas. They advertised extensively to the community, and about 20 visitors attended the concert.

One of Joy of Troy’s members, who lives in senior housing, has been active by leading a weekly Bible study in her residence. She always invites her friends to come to Communion when church members bring it to her home. She brought a couple of visitors with her to the concert who had never visited Joy of Troy church. They said they enjoyed the concert very much.

Two new visitors from the surrounding area also attended the concert because they saw it advertised on Facebook. Joy of Troy hosted refreshments after the concert and had an opportunity to connect with those who attended. What an opportunity to reach and connect with new visitors and reconnect with repeat visitors. It was a blessing to fellowship with the community and show them the friendship of God.
