New Superintendent of Schools Elected

On Tuesday, March 28, 2023, the Northeastern Conference Executive Committee unanimously elected Venetta Jarvis to serve as the Northeastern Conference (NEC) superintendent of schools. Prior to her election, Jarvis served as principal of the Northeastern Adventist Academy Boston Campus. She brings a wealth of experience and expertise to the NEC school system.

The new superintendent has extensive background in education and has worked in various capacities, from classroom teaching, to supervising, to administration. She comes with a proven track record of implementing innovative programs and strategies to improve student achievement, enhance the professional development of teachers, and foster positive relationships between schools and the community. “With Mrs. Jarvis’ leadership, we are committed to continuing to provide the highest quality education to our students and ensuring that every child receives the support they need to succeed,” said the Northeastern Conference administrators.
